En un pueblo de la periferia de San Salvador, vive Chava, un ni\u00f1o de 11 a\u00f1os, que se encuentra atrapado entre el ej\u00e9rcito y la guerrilla salvadore\u00f1a. Cuando su padre abandona a la familia, en plena guerra civil, Chava pasa a ser “el hombre de la casa”. En esta \u00e9poca, el gobierno de El Salvador reclutaba ni\u00f1os de doce a\u00f1os. As\u00ed que a Chava s\u00f3lo le queda un a\u00f1o de escuela antes de ser movilizado.<\/p>\n
