Cuenta la historia de Fran\u00e7ois Foucault, un importante profesor de Literatura que, por diversas circunstancias, deja el colegio de \u00e9lite en el que ense\u00f1aba para trabajar en un instituto de las afueras de Par\u00eds. All\u00ed encuentra una multitud de alumnado que, dada su situaci\u00f3n social, desprecian la educaci\u00f3n que le ofrece su profesorado como s\u00edmbolo de su rebeld\u00eda.
